In July, WYC/Mashup launch the Coding and Robotics Classes. The program will provide a unique opportunity for Grade 7 to Grade 10 youngsters in the community of Westbury and surrounding areas, to learn how to program their robots and gain real-world problem-solving experience!

At Westbury Youth Centre, many young people began their journey to explore and develop their potential. Some of them have achieved success through continued hard work and determination to succeed. Their success stories are inspiring, and relatable, representing the potential of young people in the community of Westbury.

Natasha Hein, a resident of Westbury, a township in Western Johannesburg, was one of the first young people to attend the Westbury Youth Centre, which receives funding support from the KONE Centennial Foundation. Today, she is a staff member of the Centre and a respected youth leader in the struggle to make Westbury a safer and more productive community….
