KCF and KONE Thailand employees collaborated to support Zero-to-Hero and Ban Huana School
Zero-to-Hero (Z2H) is a local charitable foundation serving underprivileged children in a rural community in Central Thailand. Z2H provides active learning programs to support children’s learning and development in partnership with Huana School, a rural school in the village of Na Yom, Phetchabun Province, Thailand. The KONE Centennial Foundation has been proudly supporting Z2H since 2017.
KONE Thailand has been collaborating with Z2H and Ban Huana School since 2018. In both 2021 and 2023, KONE Thailand employees and KCF made joint donations to help Z2H and Ban Huana School purchase tablets and smart TVs to facilitate students' learning.
KONE Thailand employees also donated eduactional grames to Huana School.
Matching fund to support the Huana School
In January 2025, KONE Thailand employees once again demonstrated their commitment to supporting underprivileged children by organising a successful fundraising campaign to benefit Ban Huana School in the village of Na Yom in central Thailand.
KONE Thailand employees’ donations will enable Ban Huana School to purchase new computers for its computer lab, replacing the outdated equipment and offering additional availability to students and community members alike. The new computers will significantly enhance access to information and educational resources, as well as help spark interest in computer technology.
The fundraising campaign was initiated by a group of employees at KONE Thailand, and successfully collected 30,000 THB in donations. This campaign also awarded matching funds from the KONE Centennial Foundation. As a result, a total of 60,000 THB (850 EUR) in contributions were donated towards the Ban Huana School’s computer lab.

A school engagement event at Ban Huana School
On January 23rd, 20 volunteers of KONE Thailand travelled five hours from Bangkok to Na Yom village for a special school engagement event at Ban Huana School.
The KONE volunteers organised a range of fun and interactive activities for students at Ban Huana School, including group games, dancing and singing performances, tree planting, dessert making, crafting with recycled materials, and a session on safety knowledge while using elevators and escalators. The activities were carefully planned to be both entertaining and educational. The Ban Huana School students enthusiastically participated in each activity and interacted with KONE volunteers.
During the event, the principal of Ban Huana School, representing students and teachers, expressed sincere gratitude for the generous donations and for creating such an unforgettable experience for the students.
